Job Title: Team Leader - Commercial Account HandlersLocation: Brierley Hill, UK Salary: Circa £37,000 (negotiable depending on the candidate’s experience)

This is an outstanding opportunity to lead and nurture a team of Commercial Account Handlers, guiding them to achieve exceptional outcomes for clients. You’ll play a key role in supporting small to medium-sized businesses, ensuring the customer remains at the heart of everything you do.

Your responsibilities will include:
• Managing a team of Commercial Account Handlers, supporting and motivating them to deliver excellent service.
• Conducting regular one-to-one and team meetings, providing guidance, feedback, and coaching.
• Utilising data for performance management and conducting progression review meetings with the team.
• Hitting financial targets and ensuring the team adheres to budget guidelines.
• Carrying out team audits to ensure accuracy and attention to detail.
• Empowering the team with in-depth knowledge of insurance products and policies.
• Balancing multiple tasks in a fast-paced, agile, and supportive environment.

Comprehensive training will be provided through the training academy to help you succeed and excel in this role.

The Required Skills:
• Previous experience in a team leader role or the insurance sector is preferred but not essential.
• Demonstrable experience in Commercial Broking (minimum four years required).
• Cert CII qualification is desired, along with experience working to targets in a regulated environment.
• A motivated, goal-oriented attitude with an approachable management style.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to listen, coach, mentor, and support your team.
• Proficient in utilising data for performance management and decision-making.
• Previous mentoring experience or a background in Account Handling/Executive roles in the commercial insurance sector.
• Eligibility to work in the UK is essential.
