DevOps Release Engineer - Hybrid Working
We are working in partnership with one of our longest standing customers who are a household name in the Financial Services sector. We are looking for a talented and experienced DevOps Release Engineer to join the team working on a hybrid basis.
DevOps Release Engineer
Our client is seeking an experienced and result driven DevOps Release Engineer to work as part of a cross-functional team, with hands on experience working within the software development lifecycle. This role heavily focuses on day-to-day management of application build, release and deploy aspects to deliver faster and safer continuous high-quality software to business.
Main Responsibilities as DevOps Release Engineer:
- Take ownership of creating and maintaining exiting CI/CD solutions (Jenkins & Azure DevOps) to meet build, test, release and deploy & security requirements.
- Manage and perform application build, package and software release management process to deploy to all environments
- Hands on proven experience in developing standardised, automated build & release processes to support agile delivery methodology.
Skills and experience you need as DevOps Release Engineer:
- Demonstrable experience (at least 5 years) as a DevOps Release Engineer or similar roles. Experience with EIS policy admin system will be highly desirable.
- Proven experience and hands on experience with wide range of DevOps toolchain – Jenkins, Azure DevOps, SonarQube, Git / GitHub, Docker, Kubernetes, Selenium.
- Experience with cloud technologies – Azure e.g. Kubernetes, App Services, Azure Functions etc. and proficiency in managing cloud-based infrastructure.
