Key Responsibilities:

* Lead research, design, and development activities, enhancing existing solutions through value engineering.

* Manage technical design processes, ensuring compliance with national and international standards.

* Oversee testing, safety protocols, and validation to maintain high-quality engineering outputs.

* Collaborate closely with production, quality, and procurement teams to deliver efficient, cost-effective solutions.

* Mentor and support a team of engineers on mechanical, cooling, and electrical design challenges.

* Ensure accurate technical documentation, including manuals, guidelines, and reports.

* Promote the use of 2D and 3D CAD software to drive modern design practices

What We're Looking For:

* Strong leadership experience managing technical design and engineering projects.

* Solid background in mechanical engineering; knowledge of thermal management is advantageous.

* Advanced proficiency in 3D modelling software (e.g., SolidEdge).

* Excellent project management skills with a proven ability to deliver results on time and within scope.

* Effective communicator who can engage cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.

* Degree/HND in an engineering discipline with extensive experience in mechanical design and testing.
