General Assistant

Northcastle Limited are Automotive Steering System Specialists. Based in Gateshead we distribute our products to all parts of the UK.

The main duties for this position are in our packing and distribution department and training in our production department.

You don't need to have previous experience as we're happy to work with you to build your knowledge. However, you will need an eye for detail, be dexterous with your hands and be comfortable using delicate hand tools and equipment.

We are looking for someone with the following:

* Can follow verbal instructions

You will work with a colleague while you are training and learning the safety-critical nature of our products, eventually working unsupervised as your knowledge improves.

The starting salary is dependent on your age and previous experience, if you have any. Your salary will be reviewed as your training progresses. You will be automatically enrolled in the company pension scheme (this is not compulsory).
