Salter Grange is currently recruiting a Mechanical Construction Manager to join a Leading Specialist Engineering Contractor that operates across Europe's Data Centre, Life Sciences, Residential, and Commercial sectors.
 
The successful Mechanical Construction Manager will join an exciting new Data Centre project in Belgium that is coming out of the ground and will run for 3+ years for a high-profile blue-chip client.
 
This is an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Construction Manager to enter the Data Centre sector. We are open to candidates' backgrounds but ideally, you will be exposed to large projects such as industrial, Aviation, Healthcare, Pharma or Commercial Experience and in-depth knowledge of all mechanical systems.
 
Please note that you would be employed under the host country employment law. On offer is a Competitive Salary + Subsistence Allowance + Accommodation + Flights + Travel.
 
Mechanical Construction Manager Responsibilities:

Working directly with project teams to define project requirements and develop technical solutions.
Provide off site technical support to construction teams on projects, with travel to sites also required.
Develop and agree on design processes and design deliverables.
Assist in the continual improvement of the QA System and execute project reviews.
Provide technical support to the estimating, procurement, commercial, marketing and project bid teams.
Lead Pre-Construction Engineering activities and the production of information including, design development, construction details, services coordination, technical submittals, sub-contracts, etc. 
Mechanical Construction Manager Requirements:

Ideally 5+ years' previous experience managing large projects and sub-contractors.
Experience of client, vendor and contractor interaction and management.
In-depth knowledge of all data centre mechanical systems.
Must have right to work in Europe / Visa / EU Passport.
