Are you an experienced Contracts Manager with a mechanical bias, looking to elevate your career with a leading building engineering company? Based in the heart of Derbyshire, our client specialises in delivering top-tier projects across the Education, Healthcare, and Ministry of Defence sectors. The Role:
As a Senior Contracts Manager, you will be the driving force behind the successful delivery of our projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. You'll play a pivotal role in managing contracts from inception to completion, working closely with our clients and project teams to ensure seamless execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage all aspects of contract administration and delivery.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Lead and mentor a team of project managers, engineers, and support staff.
Negotiate and manage contracts, ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions where necessary.
Prepare and present regular project reports to senior management.
Manage risk, identifying potential issues and developing mitigation strategies.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across all projects.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery and client satisfaction.Qualifications & Experience:

Minimum of 3 years' experience in a contract management role, ideally within the building engineering sector.
Strong mechanical engineering background.
Proven track record of managing large-scale projects within the Education, Healthcare, or Defence sectors.
