Job Title: 1:1 Tutor

Daily Rate: £100 - £120

Leader Education are looking for an experienced Tutor so support vulnerable pupils on a 1:1 basis, with their work and to help them achieve their goals. This role is to work at one of our specialist schools based in Leeds. We are looking for someone, with previous experience of tutoring or supporting young pupils in a school or related environment.

At Leader Education, the normal working pattern is Monday to Friday 8:30am until 4pm and is a long-term position.

The successful candidate will:

• Have an enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check or the willingness to obtain one
• Have effective behaviour management strategies
• Monitor and manage student's behaviour and well being
• Prepare and adapt learning materials to meet the needs of students
• Provide one-on-one support to students with EHCP's
• Have previous experience working with students in an educational setting that have additional needs
• Have a commitment to continuous professional development
• Have sports coaching experience
