This role is pivotal in expanding our client's global treasury operations and solidifying their position in the competitive fintech landscape.

Key Role Overview: As the Global Banking Partnership Manager, you will spearhead strategic partnerships with banks and electronic money institutions (EMIs) worldwide. Your expertise in navigating complex financial ecosystems and your ability to forge robust relationships will be crucial in driving our client's international growth.

Critical Focus: A standout aspect of this role is the emphasis on establishing and managing banking relationships in new jurisdictions and territories. Our client is particularly interested in candidates with a proven track record of:

• Successfully opening bank accounts in diverse global markets
• Developing partnerships with financial institutions in new territories
• Navigating regulatory landscapes across different jurisdictions
• Implementing efficient cross-border banking solutions

Your Challenges:

• Identify, approach, and engage with key banking institutions to develop partnerships aligned with our client's global treasury expansion goals.
• Lead negotiations with existing and potential partner banks, securing favorable terms and conditions.
• Assess and mitigate risks associated with partner banks, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Conduct comprehensive research on banking systems, financial products, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
• Collaborate with the Group Treasurer and CFO to analyze partnership performance and recommend strategic improvements.
• Spearhead projects for onboarding new banks and maintaining current relationships.
• Design and maintain efficient global cash management structures, optimizing liquidity and minimizing risks.
• Ensure adherence to internal policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in a similar role within banking, fintech, financial services, or MNCs
• Excellent networking and interpersonal skills
• In-depth knowledge of banks, EMIs, PSPs, and other financial institutions
• Strong understanding of financial products, banking operations, and global markets
• Analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Goal-oriented and adaptable to a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks in financial services
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
• Excellent communication skills in English

• Experience in a startup or change-driven culture
• Established network within the global banking sector
• Demonstrable success in opening banking relationships in multiple jurisdictions
