SALARY: £55,075 - £60,000 pro rata+ Generous Benefits (see below)

LOCATION: Hybrid working partly from the office in Ealing, West London (W5) and the remaining time from home

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Finance Transformation Manager who is a qualified accountant to ACA / ACCA / CIMA or similar, with excellent analytical and data manipulation skills.

Working as the Finance Transformation Manager you will be working with the Director of Finance Transformation to define and deliver the Finance and Procurement Transformation Programme.

As the Finance Transformation Manager you role is to work with the team to outline a realistic but stretching vision of what Finance and Procurement at the organisation could be, and then define and execute a roadmap for projects and activities.

DUTIES

The Finance Transformation Manager will be working as part of a team on many different projects, including:

• Reducing month end timetable from a variable performance between 12 and 20 days, to a consistent 5 days

• Defining and implementing performance metrics for Finance and Procurement, consulting appropriately

• Analysing the 200+ reports produced by Finance for content, dimension, value and making proposals for combining/reducing/improving them, in partnership with the Data Team

• Outlining a roadmap for a Finance and Procurement people and culture transformation, in partnership with HR

• Scoping out a more expansive systems and process transformation for Finance

• Working on the Source to Pay Transformation Project in progress, to make it easier to source, buy and pay for goods and services

• Consultation with Finance, Procurement and the Business

• Persuading busy people to engage with the project for the greater good

• Combine a focus on execution with a deep understanding and sympathy for the difficulties faced by the team

• Root cause analysis - use skills and experience to cut through noise, identify real drivers of exceptions, and test with stakeholders, users, customers as necessary

• Design, consult and test revised processes, including ways of working, SOPs and other work tools which guide the team

• Documentation of findings from discovery, including executive summaries for CFO and Executive Management Team (EMT)

• Preparing materials to support Director or EMT briefings or decisions

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

• Qualified accountant - ACA, ACCA, CIMA or similar

• Excellent reporting skills using Excel and other tools

• Excellent analytical and data manipulation skills

• Personable, persuasive, clear in communications

• Able to use skills and experience to inspire and persuade busy teams to help
