Simon Acres Recruitment are looking for a personable, driven, and positive Store Manager for a well-established, highly successful, and growing Furniture retailer based in South Essex.

Package:

Starting Salary: £33k-48k DOE (Up to £60k OTE)

Working Hours: 5 days per week ( Mon-Sat 9am to 5:30pm, Sun 10am to 4pm)

Role;

The Store Manager is accountable for the overall store environment and performance against target. They will focus on the success and development of their Sales Consultants, including performance management, training and mentoring, and staff welfare. The Store Manager will exemplify our client’s values and company ethos and will ensure excellence in all that they and their team do.

Responsibilities;

  • Manage store staff to ensure staff KPIs are met and overall store performance is on target
  • Ensure staff training needs are met, including mentoring
  • Connect to the wider organisational goals through regular meeting attendance (virtual and in person) and company messaging
  • Ensure outstanding customer service at all times, acting as the point of escalation for complex customer queries
  • Maintain strong working relationships with all colleagues and departments for a seamless customer experience
  • Manage stock and displays in line with branding guidelines
  • Responsible for the overall presentation of the store
  • Ensure pricing and POS is correct and present
  • Full Responsibility of Health & Safety, testing and compliance

Knowledge and Experience;

Essential

  • Experienced people manager with an understanding of performance management and staff training
  • Experienced sales professional at management or assistant management level
  • Retail sales experience
  • Proven track record of performing to target

Desirable

  • Experience of furniture sales
  • Professionally trained in sales strategies
