SENIOR MANAGER - VALUATIONS AND NPV MODELLING (FINTECH)

£130,000 + PENSION + BONUS

A very successful financial lending institution in the UK who are widely known to be one of the best FinTechs operating in the market is recruiting a new Senior Manager in their valuations credit risk department. The role will involve leading a small team.

THE COMPANY

This financial institution is based in London. They are a fast-paced FinTech lender who cover all lending products on the consumer side. They are leading in this field and are known to be a great place to work and develop in further.

THE ROLE

The role is Senior Manager, leading their valuation and npv modelling activities.

Day to day responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Build and maintain valuation models to assess the profitability and performance of lending products.
• Oversee the NPV modelling process, incorporating risk-adjusted returns, customer behaviour trends, and economic factors.
• Deliver actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership to support data-driven decision-making.
• Partner with Product, Risk, and Finance teams to refine valuation approaches and enhance forecasting precision.
• Track and analyse key financial and economic trends that impact valuation and lending strategies.
• Assist in the development of pricing strategies to optimise returns while maintaining fairness and market competitiveness.
• Improve and automate valuation models and reporting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Experience working in credit risk
• Ideal to have NPV or valuations modelling experience
• Credit modelling experience is a must
• Python experience is a must (any ML modelling experience is advantageous)
• Experience in leading a small team/function
• A strong university degree in a numerate discipline
