Tradewind Recruitment are looking to appoint a year 2 Teaching Assistant on behalf of a progressive and inclusive 3-form entry primary academy located in Hounslow

This Hounslow- based primary school are looking to appoint an enthusiastic teaching assistant that is skilled and confident in teaching the KS1 curriculum.

About the role:

Help reinforce concepts for individual pupils or small groups
Provide additional support for pupils with special educational needs (SEN)
Help manage classroom behaviour and ensure a productive learning environment
Assist in implementing behaviour management strategies
Offer emotional and social support to students as needed
Assist in developing pupils' literacy, numeracy, and overall learning skills
Help with pupils' personal care needs if required
Prepare teaching materials and resources for lessons
Set up and tidy away classroom materials, equipment, and displays
Supervise pupils during playtime, lunchtime, or on school trips
Ensure pupils' health and safety, reporting any concerns to the teacher
Help with marking and recording students' work
Carry out administrative tasks like photocopying, filing, or organising displaysRequirements:

Have experience as a teaching assistant in UK-Based schools
Hold the right to work in the UK
Strong understanding of KS1 curriculum
Have a positive and ambitious attitude to learning
Must be available full-time and long-term from November
