Job Title: Acoustic Consultant

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, Plus Benefits

The Company:

My client is an Acoustic Consultancy seeking a passionate Acoustic Consultant to join their expert team, in Oxted. Some key aspects of their services include architectural acoustics, sound system design, environmental noise assessments, and event management. Ideal candidates will have a strong technical background in acoustics, particularly the services mentioned. Notably, they have been involved in some of the most creative and iconic events and entertainment venues, including stadiums, arenas, and outdoor events.

Key responsibilities include:

Conduct environmental noise assessments.
Perform sound insulation testing for compliance with building regulations.
Design acoustic solutions for a range of exciting projects.
Prepare detailed reports and present findings to clients and stakeholders.
Undertake acoustic modelling using the latest software.

The ideal candidate will have:

Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in an Acoustic Consultancy role.
Degree in Acoustics or Physics. An Engineering degree with relevant modules will also be considered.
Acoustic design experience, especially in the entertainment industry, is preferred.
Strong understanding of UK noise regulations and building standards.
Membership to the Institute of Acoustics (IoA).
Full UK driver's license.
