Hours 8.30 to 3.30pm Monday to Friday

Are you looking to work with children who have additional needs and mentoring in the right direction? Then this role is for you.

Sennen Education are working in partnership with a school to support children with Social Emotional Mental Health. You will not only be working with them to help them progress in life, independence but also their attitude and wiliness to do better. Every child will be different and you will need to adapt your approach accordingly. You could be working with a child who has a traumatic background or a child involved in a gang but ultimately they all need our help!

You can work in the school where you are mentoring. This is an extremely rewarding role where you can build meaningful relationships. We are looking for people who can start as soon as possible but we do also have later start dates so regardless of when you can start please apply. Some experience supporting children in any setting is desirable for this role but we are looking for strong characters and roles models that the children can look up to.

You will have a great personality and a ability to build relationship quickly and the techniques to deal with any challenging situations. Help us have a impact on the next generation.

As part of the registration process, you will under go checks as part of the registration process. These checks will include but not limited to; DBS, References, Barred List, Right to Work, Proof of NI and Proof of Address.

Safeguarding children and young people is at the heart of what we do and we undertake checks on all the candidates we work with. As such, all post holders are subject to a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. If you do not have a subscription to the DBS Update Service, you may be required to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process.
