We are currently supporting a Great Manchester Housing Association with their search for a Fire Risk Surveyor.

Key Responsibilities:

* Leading Fire Risk Assessment specialist responsible for conducting assessments, managing mitigation works and maintaining compliance with Fire Safety Regulations 2022 across the housing society's properties.

* Project manageing fire safety contractors and works, including preparing tender packages, monitoring budgets and ensuring quality standards while maintaining the "Golden Thread of information".

* Acting as a "competent person" for fire safety, providing technical guidance and liaising with Building Control and fire engineers to develop solutions for building remediation.

* Handling emergency lighting and fire alarm maintenance schedules, conducting site safety audits and developing life safety plans including Personal Emergency Evacuation Plans (PEEPs) for vulnerable residents.
