Venn Group’s specialist Legal team is delighted to be working with a prominent Local Authority in London to recruit an Employment Lawyer. This is an exceptional opportunity for a skilled legal professional to join a supportive and dynamic team.

Role Details:

• Position: Employment Lawyer
• Hours: Full-time (36 hours per week)
• Duration: 6-12 months, with a strong possibility of extension
• Location: Predominantly remote, with in-office attendance required once a month

Key Responsibilities:

• Case Management: Handle a diverse caseload of general employment (90%) and education (10%) matters
• Hearings: Conduct your own hearings, typically held remotely online once every two months

Essential Qualifications:

• Qualified as a Solicitor, Barrister, or CILEx professional
• Proven experience in local government
• Expertise in Employment law
