DESIGN MANAGER

CITY OF LONDON

£60,000 - £70,000 DOE

My client are a regional main contractor based in London and the South West, who specialise in residential and commercial projects.

Due to company growth and a rise in the number of projects in the pipeline, they are now recruiting for a Design Manager for one of their projects in Central London.

This will be for a commercial project which is due to kick-start in the upcoming months.

We are looking for someone who already has experience working in the role on commercial projects and someone who is capable of managing their own workload.

Main Duties

* Motivating and encouraging internal and external design teams

* Ensuring structural drawings and designs are produced on time to a high quality

* Overseeing the design process using technical expertise

* Working with clients to ensure that their expectations are met

* Reviewing designs with health and safety in mind

* Avoiding errors and reducing financial risk during construction

* Ensuring designs are available to those who need them

* Maintaining thorough documentation of the design process

You will be reporting directly into the Design Director.

On offer is a salary ranging from £60,000 to £70,000 depending on experience, in addition to car/travel allowance.
