Position Summary

Teaching Personnel's PWr team are working with a prestigious private school seeking an experienced Mathematics Teacher to join their department. The successful candidate will be passionate about inspiring young minds and delivering engaging and effective mathematics lessons to students in Key Stage 3 and 4.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality mathematics lessons that are engaging, challenging, and differentiated to meet the diverse needs of students.
Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that fosters a love of mathematics.
Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their learning.
Set and mark work effectively and provide timely and informative feedback to students.
Utilize a range of teaching methodologies and resources to enhance student learning.
Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extra-curricular activities and pastoral care.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress.
Actively participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practice.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Proven experience of successful teaching of Mathematics at Key Stage 3 and 4
Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for Mathematics
Strong classroom management and organizational skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
Commitment to the professional development of teaching practice
Desirable Qualifications and Experience:

Experience of teaching in a private school environment
Experience of using a variety of assessment methods
Experience of implementing innovative teaching strategies
