Nursery Nurse Practitioner

A private day nursery in Hove are currently recruiting for a level 2 or level 3 qualified Nursery Nurse Practitioner.

The successful candidate will need to hold EYE, NVQ or recognised equivalent Early Years Childcare qualification, you will also ideally have a minimum of 6 months Early Years setting experience, being able to demonstrate a sound understanding of both the Early Years Foundation Stage and key worker practices.

Nursery Nurse Practitioner - Position Details

Your role:

* Working as part of a team promoting an enabling environment in which children can play, learn and develop

* Planning and delivering activities to extend and support children's development and learning outcomes

* Carrying out observations, evaluating and recording children's progress

* Planning and implementing next steps to support children's development

What you will need:

* An NNEB, CACHE, EYT or an equivalent Nursery Practitioners / Early Years qualification

* An understanding of the EYFS, planning and assessment procedures

* Strong communication, organisational and interpersonal skills

* An understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures
