Program Overview:

Our Graduate Program is designed for ambitious graduates seeking a multifaceted career path in Medical Science, Finance, and Commercial functions. This program offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to different business areas, develop a broad skill set, and build a strong foundation for a successful career at Uniphar.

We are currently seeing 7 graduates to join our expanding team join our expanding team in Medical Science, Finance & Commercial.

Our Graduate Program runs for 2 years and there are three different Programs available and you will be placed into one of these programs based on your skillset and interests. Within each program there will be 3 rotations of 6 months each, with the 4th rotation being based on your progress throughout the program. Our three different programs are:

Medical Science Program:

• Collaborate with medical teams to support clinical research and development projects.
• Assist in the preparation and review of scientific reports, publications, and regulatory documents.
• Participate in medical advisory boards and contribute to medical education initiatives.
• Conduct literature reviews and stay updated with the latest scientific advancements.

Finance Program:

• Support financial planning and analysis activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Assist in preparing financial statements, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Participate in cost management, financial modeling, and risk assessment projects.
• Gain hands-on experience with financial systems and software.

Commercial Program:

• Work with the marketing and sales teams to develop and implement strategic business plans.
• Assist in market research, competitive analysis, and customer segmentation.
• Participate in product launches, promotional activities, and sales training programs.
• Support the development of pricing strategies and commercial proposals.

Our Graduate Program aims at developing you as an individual and as a professional within your program. We will be providing you with a bespoke learning program at the beginning of your journey with us, developing your skills and harnessing your strengths. Throughout your time with us we will also be providing you with recognised professional accreditation for your chosen career, helping you to grow your career with Uniphar.

At the end of the program you will have an opportunity to move into a permanent position across any of our teams, with the possibility of international placements across our UK, Ireland, and Europe.

What qualifications/specializations are we looking for?

• Recent graduate with a degree in Medical Science, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Demonstrated interest in pursuing a career in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare industry.
• Previous internship or work experience in any of the rotation areas is advantageous.

Uniphar Pharma

Pharma is a global division operating across US, Europe, APAC and MENA, bringing a range of pharma services to manufacturers across the product life cycle. We leverage this platform to provide unlicensed medicines, or medicines that are otherwise difficult to source. In addition, we commercialise launch and established brands to HCPs on behalf of pharmaceutical clients across the globe. The core to this division is providing equitable access to medicines globally.

How we'd like to work together

As we are a global team, there is flexibility to be based in one of Uniphar's offices or work from home. There may be a need for face to face meetings in other locations, as needed. There may also some flexibility required in order to interact with colleagues or clients in their time zones (i.e. it's not a '9 to 5' type of job).
