PRODUCTION MANAGER
MERTHYR TYDFIL
PERMANENT FULL TIME
SALARY £33-35K NEGOTIABLE DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Production Manager to join our client, a leading manufacturing facility based in Merthyr Tydfil.
The position of Production Manager will involve managing a team of 12-15 operatives, resource planning, ensuring key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, quality, and efficiency are achieved.
This role will be a key part in driving continuous improvement and operational excellence across the manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing and be an effective leader.

Requirements of the Production Manager:
- Strong leadership and people management abilities
- Expertise in production planning and process optimisation.
- Able to Promote and maintain a strong Health & Safety culture
- Solid understanding and experience regarding commonly used manufacturing processes
- Lean Six Sigma or Kaizen certification are desired but not essential

Hours of Work:
Monday to Thurs 7am to 5pm and Friday 9am to 1pm

Salary
£33- £35k Negotiable depending on experience.
