The Role:
Due to continued growth, my client is looking to expand their Property and Asset Management team with an experienced Asset Manager to join their Oxford or Birmingham office. The successful candidate will manage a varied property portfolio of 100 assets and contribute to the development of infrastructure clients nationally.
This role offers flexible working, with an expectation of spending one to two days per week on-site, one to two days in the office, and the option to work remotely for the remainder.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the day-to-day management of a mixed residential property portfolio.
- Managing leasing and letting processes.
- Conducting rent reviews and lease renewals.
- Handling the acquisition and onboarding of new assets.
- Liaising with the Facilities Management team to ensure compliance.
- Coordinating maintenance, repairs, and improvements, working closely with tenants and contractors.
- Conducting annual and periodic property inspections.
- Managing stakeholder relationships and providing timely client reports.
- Staying up to date with relevant legislation to ensure compliance.
- Undertaking site visits for inspections, fire alarm tests, meter readings, and contractor meetings.
Requirements:
- Ideally MRICS, AssocRICS, or MARLA qualified.
- Proven asset management experience or similar.
- Strong experience dealing with clients, stakeholders, and contractors.
- Highly organised, with excellent time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- A full UK driving licence is required.
