Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Band 6 Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. The role offers the opportunity to provide specialist support and intervention for children and young people with Speech, Language, and Communication Needs (SLCN) across local schools and colleges. You will play a vital role in empowering settings to enhance the outcomes of those with SLCN, including those with additional needs such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD).
Qualifications and ExperienceEssential: - Degree or equivalent qualification in Speech and Language Therapy.
- HCPC registration.
- Proven experience working with children and young people with SLCN in educational settings.
- Knowledge of strategies and interventions for managing SLCN, ASD, and PMLD.
- Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload effectively.
Desirable: - Postgraduate training or experience in ASD or PMLD interventions.
- Experience delivering training or capacity-building sessions.
