Our Founder led client is looking to appoint a Finance Manager, working alongside the Chief Finance Officer, your role will be highly visible in the organisation.

Working in their UK office, this business is world class in innovation and Technology. You must be a Qualified Accountant with a hands on approach, this role will see you working closely with the UK stakeholders

Manage accounting operations to ensure compliance with IFRS and US GAAP and corporateSarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements, including:o Accounts payable, payroll, inter-company and general ledger functions;o US subsidiary funding requirements and other financial information. Develop operational procedures and policies and enhance process efficiencies throughautomation and elimination of process redundancies. Month end closeo Work with outsourced accounting teams, to review journal entries, balance sheetaccount reconciliations, Accruals and prepayments, Payroll and management accountso Partner closely with operational teams for monthly close accounting ensuring accuratedata is provided to outsourced accounting firms in the UK and US.o Work with third party accounting firms to ensure a consistent monthly managementpack across entities.o Bring in house the consolidation accounting activities currently outsourcedo Provide month end inventory for the UK and US to outsourced firmso Ensure capital equipment is correctly identified and accounted for in line with policyo Backup reviewer for payroll o Intercompany invoicing and purchases aligned with Transfer pricing agreements, Compliance activitieso Review and critique quarterly VAT returnso Statutory accounts preparationo Interact with external accounting and Audit firm and ensure timely completion annualaudits, tax , for both UK and US entitieso Provide technical accounting advice to the CFO including preparation of accountingmemos for the treatment of key items.o Lead accounting transition from UK GAAP to IFRS including group consolidated financialstatements, Ensure US entity adheres to group accounting policies and close timelines
