Long Term Futures is seeking a dynamic Learning Support Assistant to join a large secondary school in Tower Hamlets. This diverse and inclusive school offers fantastic facilities and a supportive environment for both staff and students.

This role involves working with SEN secondary students, providing targeted academic and emotional support across a range of subjects. It's an excellent opportunity for aspiring teachers, seasoned Assistants, and graduates who are eager to gain experience and grow in a supportive educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), providing tailored assistance in their learning across core and foundation subjects
Collaborate with teachers to adapt resources and deliver lessons that meet the needs of all learners
Foster a positive learning environment, encouraging students to engage confidently in their studies
Provide 1:1 or small group support to students, monitoring their progress and adapting interventions as needed
Contribute to the school's inclusive ethos, working as part of a diverse and supportive staff body
Assist in the development of personalised learning plans to help students achieve their full potentialWhat We're Looking For:

Experience working with SEN secondary students, ideally in a school setting
Strong all-round subject knowledge and the ability to support students across a variety of subjects
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with students and staff
A proactive and adaptable approach, with a passion for supporting students' development
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of childrenAdditional Information:

Full-time role, Monday to Friday
Paid up to £105 per day, term time only
Based in Tower Hamlets, London - with excellent public transport links
