Planner/ Call Handler

Contract: Permanent

Start Date: ASAP

Hours: 8 till 5, Mon to Fri

Salary: £24k

20 Days annual leave + bank holidays

Key Responsibilities:

To deal efficiently and in a professional manner with all customer enquiries, providing an excellent front of office and telephone service.
To answer all incoming calls
To take telephone messages as appropriate and relaying these back to the appropriate team member with all relevant information.
Recording and communicating complaints and forwarding it to the relevant Manager immediately.
To work co-operatively with other team members to provide high quality and supportive customer services.
To review e-mails first thing in the morning and on a regular basis throughout the day.
To identify jobs from E Mails, telephone or written order immediately and priority is given to emergencies / urgencies.
To offer calendar appointment service to customers.
To diarise those appointments that have been confirmed with the customer.
To generate the schedules for area/Operatives onto Service Connect to log the service calls then send to the relevant PDA.Personal Characteristics & Skills:

Excellent organisation, time management and planning skills.
Excellent communication skills: face-to-face, telephone and written.
Practical experience of working in a housing or community development related environment and a demanding customer services environment.
Experience of using database and PC (Microsoft Office) applications.
Confidence to solve problems and make decisions.
Ability to work as part of a team and sharing workloads and responsibility.
