A Qualified Financial Controller is sought by a well-established construction business based in South East London. The role is offered on a part-time permanent basis working three days a week. Reporting directly to the Managing Director. You will be responsible for the overall financial function of the business on a practically sole-charge basis. The ideal candidate must have experience of working in the Construction industry, particularly the contracting sector. Excellent communication skills are essential coupled with being flexible and adaptable. Be self-motivated, innovative, and proactive.

Duties of the Part-Time Financial Controller Role:

• Management accounts
• Project analysis accruals/prepayments
• Cash reporting
• Timesheet processing
• Reconciliations / daily banking postings
• Sales ledger/ Purchase ledger processing
• Credit control
• PAYE / CIS payments VAT and CIS returns
• Year-end accounts

Requirements of the Part-Time Financial Controller Role:

• ACCA or CIMA Qualified
• Previous experience working in the construction industry
• SAGE Line 50 / SAGE Construct Accounting systems
