Responsibilities 

Lead, manage and motivate the Street Homelessness Accommodation Team to deliver high quality support to rough sleepers in three new housing projects funded by the Rough Sleeper Accommodation Programme, including Housing First, Dispersed Accommodation and Shared Accommodation
Set up and develop the new Street Homelessness Accommodation Team, providing effective leadership to a team of Street Homeless Accommodation Support Practitioners
Ensure Street Homeless Accommodation Support Practitioners deliver proactive support to applicants with multiple and complex support needs to help them access and maintain accommodation
Contribute to the effective management Enfield's Rough Sleeper Accommodation Programme Revenue contract, including the development and implementation of operational policies and procedures
Ensure all aspects of support work are carried out in accordance with legislation, strategies, policies and procedures through effective and regular supervision, advice, guidance and support
Collaborate with internal and external partners to improve outcomes, including formal relationships, such as SLAs, contract management, protocols
Contribute to the development and management of the wider Housing Advisory Service and Sustainable Housing Service and the effective delivery of the Council's Housing and Homelessness Strategies and Policies

Requirements

Significant experience of leading and managing a team of housing support workers supporting and supervising casework practice of support workers, trainees, students or volunteers
Significant experience of managing supported housing projects, including single site and dispersed projects
Significant experience of management within a statutory or non-statutory homelessness service
Significant knowledge of Health & Safety, Safeguarding, Social Care and Equality policy and strategies
Ability to establish, manage and develop the new Street Homelessness Accommodation Team, providing effective leadership to a team of Street Homeless Accommodation Support Practitioners

Contract 

Initial 3 to 6 month ongoing contract with the opportunity to extend 
PAYE via Umbrella 
Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm (Hybrid position)
