Senior Architect - Transport + Infrastructure

Salary £50k - £55k

London, Permanent, Flexible Working

Cemented in the Transport and Infrastructure space for 20+ years, with an emphasis on high quality design for prominent longstanding clients, this traditional London based Architectural Practice is seeking a Specialist Senior Architect to join a dedicated team as an integral figure.

Given the portfolio of work, the ideal candidate will have gained experience across Rail and/or Infrastructure projects, be able to understand the technical and design complexities of these typologies. It would suit a Senior Architect who is looking for a long term career move to grow and gain more exposure to the commercial and business related aspects of the Practice.

You'd be working closely with long standing Directors, to help develop strategies to advance the business and get stuck into client relations, representing the Practice and winning new work. As a Senior Architect you'd oversee and develop a committed team and gain exposure across RIBA stages over multiple engaging projects.

It would be a versatile role offering diversity and stability, the willingness to get stuck in with production work from time to time is a bonus, but the key criteria is possessing the right industry knowledge and attitude over software aptitude.

Due to the nature of the projects the main software used in house is Microstation and AECOsim, so experience in this is ideal (as well as Revit or AutoCAD). They are a studio that is good with training, with monthly software related sessions from their in house expert, there is the chance to fill any gaps in software knowledge.

Whats in it for you? Being part of a stable studio, that invests in their team long term, and cares about the quality of their work. They offer a good benefits package, 25 days annual leave including bank holidays, and Xmas closure. They've created an inclusive studio culture, organising annual trips away, and office socials. Due to the nature of the projects and collaborative working style they prefer the team to be in the office, near Tate Modern, at least 4 days a week offering flexible working around hours to accommodate everyone's personal commitments.
