Our client is looking for a senior geologist to join their operation in DRC.  

Salary: negotiable

Responsibilities:
•    Carry out geological mapping, geochemical sampling, trenching and pitting, drilling 
•    Collect and record the geological data in an orderly manner and report appropriately
•    Supervise the activity of geo-technicians and samplers
•    Co-ordinate with mining personnel and production team.
•    Preparation of maps and reports in a timely manner.
•    Responsible for the grade control at the mine
•    Responsible for sampling at various points at the mine and plant

Key skills:
•    Minimum of 10+ years exploration experience 
•    Willing to work in remote place
•    Experience of working in Africa
•    Software knowledge of Micromine / Datamine / Surpac etc
•    Teamwork, professionalism and adaptability

Qualifications:
•    Degree in geology
