We are currently recruiting a dedicated and experienced Science Teacher for a full-time, long-term position at a Secondary School in Walsall. This Good OFSTED-rated school is known for its inclusive and supportive environment where students and staff thrive. The school offers modern facilities and a well-resourced science department, ensuring an engaging and dynamic teaching experience. This role involves teaching Science across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4), making it an exciting opportunity for a passionate Secondary Teacher to inspire and engage students.

The role is due to start immediately and will run through until July initially, with the potential of extension into September

Job Role:

Full class responsibilities, including planning and marking
Teaching Science across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
Ensuring high-quality learning and progression for students
Managing classroom behaviour effectively to maintain a positive learning environment
Providing constructive feedback and supporting student development
Required Skills and Experience:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT) status
Strong subject knowledge of Science (Biology, Chemistry, and Physics) and the National Curriculum
Proven experience in teaching Science at Secondary School level
Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
Ability to create engaging lessons that inspire students
A passion for developing the potential of students in Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4)
Working as a Science Teacher for Flourish Education also offers you excellent benefits, including:
