Surface mount Production Operative

Starting at £13.96 per hour, increase to 14.31 after training.
In addition to the base salary, overtime rates will be provided for any additional hours worked.

Shifts offered: 06:00 - 14:00 and 14:00 - 22:00 on a weekly rotation (must be able to work both shifts)We are currently seeking a Surface Mount Production Operative to join our client's team in Congleton. As a Surface Mount Production Operative, you will perform assembly duties fitting components to printed circuit boards .

Duties:

Preparing electronic components for production
Using tools to assist with the assembly process
Working with a high degree of accuracy
Working to drawings and bills of material
Conducting testing on assembled products
Resolve routine manufacturing-related problems to ensure smooth daily operations.
Carrying out all tasks in compliance with company health and safety proceduresRequirements:

Previous experience in surface-mount technology or assembly operations is preferred but not essential. Our client is willing to provide training for motivated individuals.
Strong attention to detail and quality orientation.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
