We seek a committed and enthusiastic Science Teacher specialising in Biology to join our team in September 2024. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in biological sciences and a genuine passion for teaching students aged 11-18.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and comprehensive biology lessons to students across KS3, KS4, and KS5.
Develop and implement effective lesson plans that meet curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning styles.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to ensure academic growth.
Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and a love for science.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop cross-curricular initiatives and contribute to the school community.
Requirements:

A degree in Biology or a related field.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Proven experience teaching biology at secondary school level.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
A commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with educational best practices.
