Day to Day Duties
We are seeking a proactive and bilingual French-Speaking HR Assistant with a strong focus on recruitment to join our clients dynamic HR team. This role is ideal for an individual with excellent interpersonal skills, a keen eye for talent, and a passion for helping organisations grow through effective recruitment.You will be responsible for supporting the HR department in various administrative and recruitment-related tasks, particularly focusing on French-speaking candidates and personnel across multiple departments, including
Recruitment Coordination:
- Assist in the end-to-end recruitment process, including drafting job descriptions, posting vacancies, and managing candidate applications.
- Conduct initial screening and shortlisting of candidates, particularly focusing on French-speaking applicants.
- Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Support hiring managers in the selection process, providing translation assistance where needed.
French-Speaking Liaison:
- Communicate directly with French-speaking candidates and personnel, providing recruitment and HR support in their native language.
- Act as the primary point of contact for French-speaking candidates during the recruitment process, ensuring smooth and clear communication.
Onboarding Support:
- Assist in the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all paperwork and documentation are accurately completed.
- Provide support to French-speaking employees throughout their integration into the company, ensuring all HR processes are clearly communicated.
Essential Skills/Experience
Language Skills:
- Fluency in both French and English (written and spoken) is essential.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with French-speaking candidates and personnel.
- HR & Recruitment Experience: Previous experience in an HR Assistant or Recruitment role is desirable.
- Strong understanding of the recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates

Cultural Awareness:
- A good understanding of French work culture and the ability to communicate effectively across different cultural contexts.
