About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Residential Liaison Officer to join our team and support a Decent Homes improvement program. You will play a crucial role in ensuring effective communication between residents, contractors, and project teams, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum satisfaction during refurbishment and renovation works.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as the main point of contact for residents, addressing concerns and providing updates on work schedules and progress.

*

Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, ensuring their needs and queries are managed effectively.

*

Liaise with contractors and site teams to coordinate work schedules and resolve any access issues.

*

Conduct pre-entry visits, surveys, and assessments to inform residents of planned works and potential impacts.

*

Provide support to vulnerable residents, ensuring appropriate measures are in place to meet their specific needs.

*

Handle complaints and resolve disputes in a professional and timely manner.

*

Maintain accurate records of all resident interactions, complaints, and resolutions.

*

Ensure all communication materials, such as letters and notices, are clear, accurate, and distributed in a timely manner.

*

Work closely with site managers and project teams to ensure smooth and efficient project delivery.

Key Requirements:

*

Previous experience in a similar Resident Liaison Officer (RLO) or Customer Service role within social housing, construction, or refurbishment projects.

*

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with residents from diverse backgrounds.

*

Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to resolving resident concerns.

*

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

*

Strong organizational and time-management skills.

*

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience maintaining records and reports.

*

A valid driving license and access to a vehicle (preferred but not essential).
