Location: Newark-on-Trent, Nottinghamshire
Start Date: April 2025
Contract: Full-time, Monday to Friday (Part-time available for the right candidate)
Salary: £31,600 - £43,607 per annum

About the Role

As a Key Stage 1 Teacher, you will play a crucial role in delivering the KS1 curriculum and ensuring that pupils receive a strong foundation in their education. Your responsibilities will include:

Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 national curriculum
Creating an inclusive and nurturing learning environment that encourages academic and personal growth
Assessing and tracking pupil progress, using data to inform teaching strategies and interventions
Working collaboratively with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and senior leadership to enhance pupil learning outcomes
Implementing positive behaviour management strategies to create a structured and supportive classroom

What We're Looking For

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching in a Key Stage 1 setting
Strong understanding of the KS1 national curriculum and effective teaching methodologies
Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
A passion for primary education and a commitment to supporting young learners
Flexibility to work full-time or part-time, depending on your availability
