Equifind are supporting a global asset management firm based in the City of London to recruit a Senior Financial Accountant.

What Will I be Doing?
- Preparing monthly consolidated management accounts for the Group
- Preparing individual monthly management accounts for the main UK Firm and the 3 newly acquired entities operating in the UK and Jersey
- Preparing month-end Management Information - including memo’s, commentary and board reports.
- Produce Key Performance Indicator file and ad hoc financial analysis.
- Analysis on the financials - including analytical review and commentary.
- Support to Junior staff including training and development.
- Preparing and maintaining balance sheet reconciliations - investigating and actively clearing down balances.
- Maintaining Fixed Asset register, ensuring it agrees to the management accounts, and ensuring all capital items have been captured.
- Intercompany reconciliations within Group, including communications with Group counterparts.
- Ownership of the Corporation Tax and Partnership tax returns for each entity.
- One of 2 lead contacts for the statutory financial audit.

What Do I Need To Apply?
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- At least 3 years of post-qualified experience in a similar reporting role
- Advanced-level Excel skills
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent report writing and able to confidently liaise with a range of stakeholders
- Ability to deliver quality in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent numeracy, verbal and written communication skills
- Solid understanding of financial reporting requirements
- Experience in preparing management account and key performance data
- Proven stakeholder management experience and relationship building skills
