ERTS Coordinator

Annual Salary: Up to £35,000

We are working with a growing privately owned company that are looking for  an ERTS Coordinator to join the team in Felixstowe. This role is ideal for someone with a background in logistics, and experience in warehouse or customs operations would be highly advantageous. As an ERTS Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our logistics operations.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Oversee and manage the ERTS (Enhanced Remote Transit Shed) operations, ensuring compliance with customs regulations.
• Coordinate the movement of goods within the warehouse, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
• Liaise with customs officials and ensure all necessary documentation is completed and submitted correctly.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure that stock is stored and handled correctly.
• Work closely with the logistics team to plan and optimise warehouse space.
• Respond to any issues or queries related to customs and warehouse operations.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and changes in customs regulations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in logistics, with a strong understanding of warehouse or customs operations.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work under pressure.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling and processing documentation.
