Currently, we are is seeking a Senior Manager, Device Design and Industrialisation to lead the charge in mechanical engineering for combination product design and development. This pivotal role is situated within the Global Device Development organisation, which is at the forefront of designing and commercialising a diverse array of device technology solutions. The successful candidate will join a team that is passionate about delivering drug-delivery technologies for respiratory, biologic, biosimilar, and injectable products, all while contributing to a healthier world.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Senior Manager, Device Design and Industrialisation will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. Provide technical leadership within design teams to develop cutting-edge drug delivery devices, utilising your expertise in device design, materials, and manufacturing processes.

2. Leverage solid engineering principles, including calculations, tolerance analysis, and CAE simulation techniques, to drive design activities and mentor others in these practices.

3. Employ critical thinking to navigate complex design constraints, ensuring robust, cost-effective, and functional device designs that meet high-volume manufacturing standards.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this influential position as the Senior Manager, Device Design and Industrialisation, the following qualifications, skills, and experiences are sought:

1. A degree qualification in mechanical engineering.

2. A passion for mechanical engineering and mechanism design, coupled with exceptional technical skills.

3. Strong leadership abilities and proven experience in people management.

4. A working knowledge and practical experience with 3D CAD, tolerance analysis, and simulation techniques pertinent to high-volume product development.
