CNC Turner 

We are currently seeking a skilled CNC Turner to join a specialist precision engineering company who are based in the Southampton area. As a CNC Turner, you will be responsible for setting up, operating and programming Fanuc Lathes. You will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of the components produced.

CNC Turner Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as turning, drilling, milling etc.
Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine the necessary programming and tooling for the job.
Program machines using Fanuc controls and perform test runs to ensure proper functioning.
Monitor machine operations to detect any issues and make adjustments as needed.
Inspect finished products for quality and ensure conformance to specifications.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.Qualifications
Proven experience as a CNC Turner or similar role.
Proficiency in programming and operating CNC machines, specifically with Fanuc controls.
Strong understanding of technical drawings and blueprints.
Ability to use precision measuring instruments to ensure quality control.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Solid understanding of safety procedures and guidelines in a manufacturing environment.Day-to-Day
Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure accurate interpretation of technical drawings.
Program CNC machines based on job requirements and specifications.
Set up and operate CNC machines, monitoring operations and making adjustments as necessary.
Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
Proactively identify and address any issues that may arise during the manufacturing process.Hours 

Monday to Thursday - 6am to 4.15pm
