A great opportunity is available for an Assistant Accountant to join an international Charity based in North West London. Working as part of the finance team and under the direction of the Financial Controller, this position would be ideal for an individual with experience in general accounting and a strong working knowledge of Xero.This role benefits from generous holidays and a supportive and collaborative work environment.Key Responsibilities:* Assist with the preparation of management accounts, accruals and month-end journals* Bank reconciliations, intercompany accounts and balance sheet reconciliations* Assisting with daily consolidations and charity payment runs* Maintaining petty cash records, process credit card transactions and reconcile monthly accounts* Reconciling accounts receivables* Handling purchase orders and processing invoices * VAT returnsKey Skills:* 3 years or more experience in a similar role* Strong working knowledge of Xero - essential* Qualified / Part Qualified AAT/CIMA/ACCA* A proactive and organised individual with strong attention to detailContact Fame Recruitment today
