Financial Support Specialist for Schools - School Accountant/Business Manager

Up to £300/day for the Right Candidate (Umbrella)

Are you ready to make a significant impact on local schools? Our team is expanding due to increased demand, and we're looking for a dynamic Financial Support Specialist to join us!

Your Role: You'll be the go-to expert for a variety of schools, providing tailored financial support based on their specific needs. This will include:

• Transactional Support: Handling payments, month-end reconciliation, and VAT submissions.
• Strategic Support: Analyzing budgets and spending, and reporting to governing bodies and headteachers.
• Deficit Recovery Plans: Assisting schools in developing and implementing these crucial plans.
• Finance Systems Implementation: Training staff on new finance systems.

What We're Looking For:

• Expert Knowledge: Strong understanding of school funding.
• System Expertise: Proficiency in at least one of the following - ACCESS, RM, Sims/FMS.
• Tech-Savvy: Excellent IT skills with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
• Initiative & Feedback: Ability to work independently while maintaining clear communication with senior management.
• Communication Skills: Clear, concise, and persuasive in both written and verbal communication.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Able to engage stakeholders effectively without confrontation.
• Multitasking Pro: Thrive under pressure, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
