A dedicated individual is required to help run a friendly and comfortable Residential Care Home within the Hayling Island area as their new Head of Care / Deputy Manager. The home is a small, caters for elderly and dementia clients and they are a part of a small, family-run care company. The home is located in a scenic and tranquil setting within an extremely rewarding environment.

This is a full-time, permanent position paying £28,000 - £30,000 per year and working 39h per week. The successful candidate would need to be to work occasional weekends. Previous experience is preferred however this could be the ideal role for an experienced Care Team Leader or Senior Care Assistant looking to take their first step up into a managerial role or previous experience as a Deputy.

The successful candidate will have previous Team Leading experience in an elderly care home environment with good leadership skills and a strong personality. As Head of Care / Deputy Manager you will work as the link between the Senior Carers and Home Manager, ensuring that the care home's high standards are maintained.

Skills/ Experience:

* Knowledge of CQC regulations and relevent legislation

* Relevant experience in a residential care or health care setting ideally as a Deputy Manager or in a senior position

* Proven experience of supporting the management of commercial budgets, driving occupancy and fee management

Head of Care duties will include:

* Shift leading and ensuring a high quality of care provision is maintained

* Care plans/reviews/meetings

* Working on the floor
