Salary: £21000 - £30000/annum

Our client is a well established firm who provides taxation and accounting services, are looking to make an immediate hire for an experienced Bookkeeper.

The position itself requires an experienced Bookkeeper, someone whom is happy working autonomously & part of a team. The successful applicant would be happy making own decisions and working independently when required.

The Bookkeepers duties will include:

· Bank reconciliation

· Credit controls

· Raising some sales invoices

· Supplier payments

· Employee expenses

· VAT reconciliation

· *Payroll

· Pensions

· Holiday/Sickness log

· Setup new customers/suppliers on SAGE

· Co. Asset forms & vehicle management (in conjunction with the administrator)

· Upload purchase Invoices

· And some general admin

* accountants do the PAYE but they need the correct details

The successful Bookkeeper would possess some/most of the following attributes:

Good accounting software knowledge and experience

Strong experience of covering all aspects of Bookkeeping

Experienced Excel user and proficient in other MS Office products

Proactive and self-motivated with excellent system skills.

Possess first-rate numerical skills

A passion for small businesses and helping people.

Highly organised. Works in a logical and methodical, time efficient and accurate way. Meticulous attention to detail is essential.

Excellent multi-tasking skills and efficient time management - able to prioritise and manage deadlines & workload

Confident in making decisions and when to refer problems

Clear communicator across all mediums & easily builds rapport with clients and team
