Door Assembly/Workshop Carpenter
Role Introduction
The Company are global specialists in the design and manufacture of anti-ligature door systems for mental health hospitals and other secure facilities where there is a risk of patient self-harm.
Responsibilities and Duties
The role of the Door assembly operative is to support the production line, assemble our bespoke door units whilst maintaining high standards and values. At this company we produce our own Hinges, Vision panels and door alarm systems . Each of these components are applied to our timber door sets. The workshop currently operates with a team of 38 operatives, each department has a team leader whom reports to the production manager. The Clients are seeking energetic self-motivated operatives with an eye for detail.
Good communication and collaboration skills are essential. A naturally enthusiastic organiser with great attention to detail.
* Understanding schedules and drawings

Skills and Experience
To succeed in the assembly role the following skills and experience are required:
* Experience working with different wood species
* Manufacturing Background
* A confident communicator, both spoken and written with the ability to relate information to the team leader
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with people and build trust with team and stakeholders
* Dependable, proactive and working smart
* Good judgement, self-motivation and excellent organisation skills
* Able to establish priorities and meet deadlines whilst preserving the high level of accuracy and confidentiality needed
Renumeration Package

* £35,000 -£38,000 per annum salary
* Mon - Fri 7am-4pm
* 40Hr working week
* Annual holiday allowance of 20-days plus Bank Holidays
* Company Performance bonus upto £500 per Month after probation period
