Alecto Recruitment is working with a market leader in the food waste Anaerobic Digestion sector, our client is looking for a Regional Sales Manager to work at their plant in Dagenham.

Package:
* Based - East London.
* Hours - 40 hours per week, working office hours based around 8.00am - 5.00pm Monday to Friday.
* Pay - c.£45,000.
* Holiday Allowance - 25 days, plus bank holidays.
* Private Health Care Scheme.
* Company Car or Car Allowance Benefit.

The Role:
* Oversee sales operations for the company's recycling services in specific territories and/or accounts.
* Lead the regional sales team to meet or exceed set targets and goals.
* Manage the raw material supply chain to comply with legal standards while achieving revenue and quality goals.
* Ensure adherence to PAS 110 digestate standards and manage relationships with third-party digestate contractors.
* Maintain relationships with current customers, track their trading activity, and seek opportunities to increase business.
* Develop quotes consistent with the company's pricing policy and renegotiate terms when needed.
* Collect and update market information within the local region, keep an eye on competitor activities (services and pricing), and share insights as necessary.

The Person:
* Good formal education - A-Level educated minimum.
* Full UK Driving Licence and ability and willingness to travel, when required.
* Be experienced in new business sales within a B2B environment and be experienced in providing support to a field sales team.
* Ideally experienced in Anaerobic Digestion/Waste Management/ Recycling or similar sectors.
* Previous management experience.
* Be able to engage with customers and build strong, commercial relationships across a range of organisations and contact levels.
* Good written, and verbal, communication and IT skills - must be proficient with MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.
* Ability to make decisions under pressure, be flexible, practical and hard working with a strong work ethic.
