We are seeking a talented and experienced Data Centre Commissioning Manager to join an international Data Centre company. The Commissioning Manager will play a key role in the successful delivery of all commissioning activities, with a focus on MEP (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing) systems within data centre environments. This position requires a strong background in commissioning engineering and an in-depth understanding of industry-specific engineering design standards.

Responsibilities

* Lead and manage the commissioning process for MEP systems within data centres, ensuring they meet quality, performance, and sustainability standards.

* Write commissioning scripts from level 1-5

* Collaborate with project teams to develop commissioning plans, schedules, and budgets tailored to data centre requirements.

* Conduct commissioning meetings, site inspections, and performance tests to verify system functionality and efficiency in data centre environments.

* Identify and resolve technical issues related to MEP systems during the commissioning phase within data centres.

* Communicate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to provide updates on commissioning progress and address any concerns specific to data centre projects.

Qualifications

* Proven experience in MEP commissioning engineering within data centre environments, with a deep understanding of industry-specific engineering design standards.

* Strong project management skills with the ability to lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams focused on data centre projects.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders within the data centre industry.

Day-to-day

* Collaborating with design teams to integrate commissioning requirements into the project plans for data centre facilities.

* Conducting site visits to verify the installation and functionality of MEP systems within data centre environments.

* Preparing commissioning reports and documentation tailored to data centre projects for project handover.

* Keeping abreast of industry trends and best practices in commissioning engineering within the data centre sector.

* Mentoring junior engineers and supporting their professional development within the context of data centre projects.
