Your new companyYou will be working for a large charity within the creative industry who have a head office in Glasgow. This is a new position within the organisation as their Marketing & Communications Manager reporting directly to the Chief Executive. Your new roleThis organisation is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Marketing & Communications Manager to lead, develop, implement and manage the strategy for marketing and communications. The successful candidate will oversee the co-ordination of all communications, digital marketing and advertising and will have a key role in championing stakeholder engagement. Responsibilities- Develop a media and communications plan to ensure all critical dates and events are effectively tracked and managed to maximise media opportunities public profile for the charity. - Oversee the charities PR function, including being the first point of contact for press and media enquiries.- Work with the charity's Projects team to manage communications around capital projects.- Manage the Marketing Officer and support them in their work and training, ensuring agreed targets and standards are met.- Manage the charities' digital presence, websites and social media through the creation, commissioning and delivery of all digital content including filming, video and audio editing, and animation where required.What you'll need to succeedPrevious experience in a similar role will lead to your success. - Proven experience in a marketing and communications management role.- Strong project management and organisational skills.- Excellent communication and presentation skills.- Experience of managing budgets.- Experience of managing staff and working with external partners.
