Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 per annum

The candidate will need to be a highly detail-oriented and organised individual to oversee both accounts and operations within our company. In this role, you will be responsible for managing both accounts payable and receivable transactions, ensuring accurate invoicing and data processing, while supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the operations department. Your ability to streamline processes, maintain strong relationships with clients and suppliers and oversee the administrative side of our projects will be key to your success. If you have a strong background in accounts management, an understanding of operations workflows, and experience working with Sage accounting software, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform monthly sales forecasting and monitor bank accounts for client receipts.
• Post client receipts, supplier and client invoices, and credit notes into Sage.
• Reconcile Sage with supplier statements and maintain creditors reconciliation spreadsheets.
• Arrange weekly payment runs and send remittance advice to suppliers.
• Invoice sales orders and manage client invoices and statements, including liaising with client finance teams for payment requests.
• Maintain debtors' reconciliation spreadsheets and prepare 7-day letters for clients with outstanding payments, when necessary.
• Process client refunds and credit notes and reconcile company credit cards and staff expenses.
• Support year-end financial preparations alongside our Accountant by tidying up Sage and carrying out general bookkeeping tasks.
• Manage petty cash transactions
•Order office supplies and IT equipment for staff and manage incoming post

Practical skills:
•Proven experience in accounts administration
•Proficiency in Sage accounting software is essential
•Strong understanding of financial principles and practices
•Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
•Ability to communicate effectively with clients and suppliers
•Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel
•Strong initiative and problem-solving skills
•Strong organisational and administrative skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
•Self-motivated but can work well within a team
•To be proactive and able to multi-task
•Ability to work accurately, under pressure and meet deadlines
