Main Purpose of Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Transactional Recruitment Team who manage both Police officer and Police staff recruitment. As a member of the team, you will support the candidates' journey from advertising & applying, right through to a new recruits first day. The role requires the successful candidate to deliver a customer focussed, confidential & professional service; providing information, advice and guidance to both internal and external customers.
The candidate will be able to problem solve as the first line support for day-to-day enquiries, taking ownership; researching and efficiently responding to enquiries, where necessary. You will update and maintain digital/electronic recruitment, employee records and systems, to enable the provision of accurate and timely data, by providing management information.
Key Skills & Experience Required:
Understanding of office management systems including Microsoft Office IT packages with previous administrative experience. Strong time management skills are a requirement as is knowledge of either general or Human Resources administration procedures. The ability to multitask is important as well as problem-solving and having strong organisational skills. Both written and verbal communication skills is essential as is the ability to deal with all members of an organisation. Strong customer focussed skills with a desire to get it right first time.
